There are so many different choices when it comes to paint protection. Before even thinking about the individual products and brands, you need to choose between waxes, sealants, ceramic coatings, and spray sealants.
Here are links to my favourite paint protection products.
- Sealant: Autoglanz Prizm
- Wax: G3 Professional Super Gloss Paste Wax
- Ceramic Coating: Pyramid UBV New Era Ceramic Coating
- Top-Up Protection: Garage Therapy /Two: Sigma
- Quick Detailer: P&S Paint Gloss (USA Link and UK Link)
This product works well as both a spray sealant (on a dry panel), or as a spray and rinse sealant making it a very versatile product. Personally, I like using it as a spray and rinse sealant on the alloys, and as a traditional spray sealant on the paintwork as this delivers the best performance.
It’s super easy to use (with either method), and lasts around 2-3 months on a daily driven car from my experience. The water behaviour is solid and it also feels nice and slick.
The other paint protection products I have on this list definitely all deserve a place here, but if you want a good all-rounder, then this is the one I’d go for.

G3 Professional Super Gloss Paste Wax
Some people love waxes and others find them too time-consuming, however I’m in the first camp especially in summer.
This is a ridiculously easy wax to apply that I actively look forward to using and doesn’t make the waxing process feel like a chore at all. It offers a super slick and glossy finish with outstanding water behaviour. The only downside is that it needs reapplying every 1-2 months, but it’s so easy to use that it doesn’t bother me at all.

Pyramid Car Care UBV New Era Ceramic Coating
I applied this 3-year coating to a new car a few months ago and have been very impressed with the performance. It offers outstanding water behaviour, self-cleaning ability and slickness. Ceramic coatings do require more prep before application, but I found this very easy to use once the surface was ready. It also has a short drying time so it can be applied outdoors.

Garage Therapy /Two: Sigma
This one is a cross between a quick detailer and sealant. It provides around 8 weeks protection, it’s really easy to apply and leaves an amazingly slick and glossy finish behind. I like using it in combination with the GT Ceramic Sealant to top it up and keep the performance levels consistent. However, it can also be used as a stand-alone product.

P&S Paint Gloss
I’ve started using this product more recently and have been very impressed with how easy it is to use. You simply spray and wipe, meaning it’s possible to apply it to an entire car in around 5-10 minutes.
It’s not a very durable product and will only last a couple of weeks, however it does a great job at topping up the protection and adding a boat load of gloss and slickness to boost the finish.
